  • Overview

    The Competitions Department is looking for a Competitions Coordinator for the 2019-20 winter season, starting in mid-November. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment. Must have a professional manner and good judgment while relating to competition volunteers, athletes, and their parents.


    • Competition day athlete registration
    • Assist volunteers at registration
    • Keep inventory of office supplies
    • Track volunteer days and ensure we have the needed number for each event
    • Complete all paperwork pertinent to volunteers
    • Coordinate volunteers and their supplies for each event
    • Positive customer service attitude when dealing with guests and staff
    • Superior organizational skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously


    • Some computer/typing experience required
    • Knowledge of racing/competition advantageous; race/event experience preferred
    • Aptitude toward problem solving and mechanical skills
    • Basic computer literacy
    • Ability to ski all types of terrain (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and all snow conditions, often while carrying event equipment
