  • Overview

    The Ticket Seller we are looking for has an excellent sense of humor, can handle difficult situations with a calm caring manner & knows what it takes to go “above & beyond” for our guests.  Provides top-level customer service with Guests at the ticket window.  Takes initiative to get any and all jobs completed accurately and proficiently and is someone who doesn’t understand the term “not my job.”


    The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.

    • Greets every Guest and answers Guest’s questions and provides consistent, friendly and helpful guest service
    • Sells lift tickets and provides general mountain information to guests at the ticket window
    • Data entry into Ticketing System (Training Provided) and PCs
    • Responsible for cash handling and till balancing
    • Actively up-sells Season Passes and other promotions and events happening at the resort
    • Perform cleaning duties
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Attendance/Punctuality -Communicates absences and schedule changes in a timely manner.  Promptness in reporting to work and adherence to break and lunch schedules.
    • Safety -Demonstrates safety consciousness with guests, resort and co-workers.  Attends safety meetings and adheres to safety codes and procedures.

    • Ability to provide information about tickets, base areas and up-sell season passes
    • Ability to respond appropriately to difficult customer service situations
    • Ability to do math calculations quickly and accurately
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to operate safely and follow safety procedures
    • Ability to learn cash handling procedures
    • Problem resolving and positive attitude

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.  Must provide outstanding Guest Service. Fluent in any language other than English a plus. Cash register, sales and customer service experience is helpful.
