These spectacular and unique resorts include: The Inn at Bay Harbor, Boyne Mountain, and Boyne Highlands. The Boyne Resorts Group Sales Manager is responsible for uncovering, growing and maintaining relationships with group customers while meeting the goals as outlined by all three Boyne Resorts. Goals include driving ADR, building food and beverage revenue, and increasing sales in golf, ski, spa and other revenue generating activities. A successful candidate must be an effective communicator and a successful negotiator with a proven record of achieving sales goals. Experience with conducting sales calls, participating in tradeshows and customer events, as well as a history of creative sales approaches is integral for success in this position. Strong analytical and technical skills are key as we work in multiple customer data management systems. Each day is different from the next; one day you could be booking an incentive group that wants to golf and spa, and the next you are booking a national association that wants to ski and snowmobile!! The work environment is fast-paced with multiple exciting initiatives happening daily!!
The Boyne Group Sales Manager's typical job functions include:
Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 3 – 5 years hospitality sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Individual must be proactive, self-motivated, and able to meet customer needs along with Boyne Resorts KPI (Key Performance Indicator) objectives.
Must be willing to be creative, think outside the box, and have fun selling a beautiful and
one of a kind destination!!
