  • Overview

    Sunday River's lodging team is in search of Hotel Valets to create a Warm Welcome and a Fond Farewell for guests arriving at and departing from the Jordan Hotel. This position's main duties include, but are not limited to, greeting guests and owners at their cars, parking and retrieving vehicles, carrying luggage, answering guest questions, ensuring that the lobby, entry area, and stairways are clean and safe at all times, and helping with snow removal during and following storms. Valets must be timely, friendly, helpful, and professional and have a clean driving record. The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented and available nights, weekends, and holidays to provide exceptional guest service.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure lobby and walkway areas are clean and safe at all times
    • Clear cars of snow and ice
    • Maintain a high level of customer service and an energetic attitude
    • Have a working knowledge of activities and events within the hotel, resort, and local area
    • Keep storage room, ski check, and bell stand neat, organized, and clean at all times
    • Maintain cleanliness of lobby and front entry area
    • Keep an accurate account of all cars using valet service
    • Maintain understanding of Emergency Protocols
    • Answer the telephone promptly and courteously
    • Delivery guests' personal belongings to their rooms while maintaining a high level of security
    • Handle and deliver mail packages, faxes, photocopies, and messages

    Qualifications

    Valid driver's license is required. No experience necessary.
