  • Overview

    To aid in the general operation of the Adventure center by being attentive to customers and their needs, answer questions and phones, handles money, and fits guests for rental equipment. The desk clerk is responsible for processing all applicable paperwork and reservations. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests.

    Responsibilities

    Greet and talk with customers, answering questions and finding out what they need.

     

    Answer phones and take reservations for lessons and tours. Handle money.

     

    Distribute rental equipment, both skis, snowshoes and skates.

     

    Help with the maintenance of the ice rink.

     

    Clean Adventure Center on a regular basis along side other staff. Keep walkways outside clean of ice and snow.

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

     

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
