  • Overview

    The Tubing Cashier has an excellent sense of humor, can handle difficult situations with a calm caring manner and knows what it takes to go “above and beyond” for our guests. This position provides top-level customer service with guests face to face. Takes initiative to get any and all jobs completed accurately and proficiently and may include responsibilities such as ticket selling, accurately ringing in food purchases, giving change, and maintains a balanced drawer. Must be energetic, outgoing and able to interact with guests in a friendly and fun manner. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests. This may best be achieved by exceeding the expectations of guests’ and supervisors and by maintaining The Summit’s brand.

    • Receive payment by cash, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits using our Point of Sales software and stations.
    • Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
    • Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
    • Rings in proper payment with each transaction and keeps track of all voids and over-rings.
    • Assures payment is made for every item
    • Helps with opening and closing procedures of assigned area.
    • Maintains a friendly, team spirit with a focus on guest service.
    • Stocks shelves, food items, paper products and other required items.
    • Contributes to team effort by participating in Job Sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.
    • Maintain cleanliness throughout the Tubing building including lobby, ticket booth, bathrooms, guest eating areas and other areas around the Tubing lodge.
    • Answer customers' questions, and provide information, assisting with resolving guests concerns.
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Attendance/Punctuality – Communicates absences and schedule changes in a timely manner. Promptness in reporting to work and adherence to break and lunch schedules.
    • Safety – Demonstrates safety consciousness with guests, resort and co-workers. Attends safety meetings and adheres to safety codes and procedures.


    Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Position requires Candidate to be over the age of 18.




    High School Diploma or GED. Customer service experience, both in person and on the phone preferred. Basic computer experience required. Must be able to multitask in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment. Food handelers permit is required and can obtain it after hiring. Fluent in any language other than English a plus.
