  • Overview

    The Snow Removal Operator is responsible for snow removal and ice control services on and around resort parking areas and roadways using loaders, graders, and snow blowers. This position requires the successful applicant to work 10:00pm to 8:00am. Ideal candidates are detail oriented, hardworking, and motivated professionals with strong contribution ethic.

    Responsibilities

    The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.
    Removes snow from parking areas and resort roadways
    Fulfill all hauling needs and dozing needs of the other departments
    Report any equipment damage to supervisor
    Operates all equipment with precision
    Understands and follows all safety guidelines
    Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Willing to work 10+ hour shifts as needed
    Willing to work early morning, late evening and overnight shifts
    Willing to work holiday and weekends as required
    Must be comfortable working outdoors in an alpine, winter environment
    Team player
    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
    High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Must be 18 years of age or older. Previous heavy machine operating experience preferred.
