    Sunday River is seeking an IT Director to oversee our IT operations, ensuring our business is getting the support it needs and that IT infrastructure and operations continue to operate at peak efficiency.


    Lead the Sunday River IT team in achieving its mission of providing effective IT services and support to Sunday River.  The ideal candidate will be able to integrate with both Sunday River culture and overall Boyne Resorts culture.  This position will assign and prioritize local projects as needed, support Help Desk operations, mentor IT team members, and work hands-on to ensure smooth operation within the department.  This position will also manage local service providers, operate IT within a budget, and work closely with the Boyne Corporate IT team to comply with established IT standards and best practices.

    • Head project & vendor management
    • Lead cap ex & expense budget management
    • Microsoft Windows workstation and server setup, repair, and upgrades
    • Install, configure, and use Microsoft Windows and Office applications
    • VMWare administration
    • Cisco managed network administration
    • Avaya PBX administration
    • Install or replace network and voice cabling
    • Install or replace network devices such as switches, printers, phones, etc.


    • Any combination of education and training equivalent to possession of a Bachelor's degree that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described
    • 5+ years’ experience in Information Technology with a strong skill set in Microsoft Server Suite
    • Microsoft and Cisco certifications or equivalent are highly recommended as is the desire for life-long learning
