  • Overview

    Sunday River is hiring a Hotel Maintenance Technician to help maintain our base lodge facilities this winter. The Hotel Maintenance Technician is tasked with carrying out maintenance duties as assigned by the leadership team in order to maintain the integrity of the facility, maintenance systems and established maintenance protocols in order to ensure a quality guest experience. Duties and tasks may vary from one day to the next but work will be consistent over the long term. Responsibilities include the ability to complete tasks as assigned thoroughly in a timely manner with attention to detail. There may be other duties assigned as necessary.



    • Minor repairs within and around the facilities as related to carpentry including painting, drywall repair, minor leak repairs, minor heating and cooling trouble shooting, woodwork and minor carpet repair.
    • Facility upkeep, including, but not limited to, daily maintenance rounds and logs for the facility, back of the house, front of the house and exterior areas to ensure proper facility operation.
    • Plowing, shoveling, salting, sanding and general snow removal
    • Stacking and delivery of firewood to units or common fireplaces
    • Responsible for responding to guest/team member maintenance calls in a timely and professional manner.
    • Adherence to all Sunday River Resort policies and procedures.
    • Adherence to all department, Sunday River Resort and OSHA Safety policies and procedures.


    Three years previous on the job experience relating to maintenance and building mechanics in corrective, preventitive and predictive aspects.
