  • Overview

    The Ticket Scanning Supervisor for Boyne Highlands will ensure team members are providing great guest service along with the checking and scanning of all tickets and season passes. This team will  assist with building lift mazes and managing crowd control at the bottom of the chairlifts. This role will manage the day to day schedule for scanning at the lifts, working through ticket issues and coordinating resolution, and host a detailed morning meeting. This role will assist the Mountain Manager in hiring, training, coaching and scheduling up to 10 team members spread over the base of the hill. You will work very closely with Skier Services, Security and Lift Operations. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, team focused and has prior experience in guest facing roles.

    Qualifications

    1. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School or equivalent education. Supervisory experience required. Guest Service experience preferred. Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required.
    2. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to express self fluently in English. Knowledge of other languages a plus!
    3. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Willingness to look at all aspects of a problem before drawing a conclusion. Ability to proactively make quick decisions to keep crisis situations from escalating.
