  • Overview

    The Sugarloaf Lift Department is seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist in the creation of a more complete and comprehensive records system. This position will work under the Lift Administrator to continue the department’s efforts to develop a cohesive and forward thinking record keeping program. The ideal candidate would be comfortable reviewing technical manuals and drawings for various types of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment, though expert level knowledge is not required.


    • Review current ski lift and equipment manuals, written procedures, and records.
    • Contact manufacturers, vendors, and other specialists to obtain any records or documentation that may be missing or outdated.
    • Scan any files, documents, manuals, construction prints, schematics, etc. that are not already scanned to complete our digital filing system.
    • Confer with maintenance staff, and draft technical procedures.
    • Assemble hard copies of completed manuals for reference purposes.
    • Assist with the data entry and launch of ManagerPlus asset management software.


    • High school degree or equivalent
    • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, SharePoint)
    • Previous experience with procedure writing, engineering, auditing work preferred
