Overview

Basecamp Guides are tasked with providing exceptional guest service while leading groups of individuals through Basecamp activities such as zip lines and kid camp activities. While providing tours, Guides will encourage guests to abide by safety guidelines while experiencing an exciting, enjoyable and engaging tour.

Responsibilities

  • Must be willing and able to gain extensive knowledge of Big Sky Resort and the surrounding areas. Must be an expert on all activities offered by Basecamp and feel confident taking on a leadership role while guiding inexperienced guests
  • Engage in strenuous activities such as hiking, climbing and lifting. Must be physically able and willing to perform all activities and work in extreme and changing weather conditions
  • Enjoy interacting with guests of all types and engaging for extended periods of time. This position requires an outgoing and friendly individual that strives to make guests feel welcome and safe.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Willing and able to participate in and attend all training sessions. Guide training is provided by Big Sky Resort
  • Previous customer service and/or group guiding preferred
  • Enjoy working outdoors!
