Bay Harbor Golf Club, the most upscale of the three Boyne Golf properties, is perched high atop a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. Inside the clubhouse you will find the Links Grille and pro-shop that makes for an unforgettable golfing experience.


Irrigation Technician is a full-time seasonal position at Bay Harbor Golf Club. The technician will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of irrigation equipment for a 27 hole golf course, which includes sprinklers, water lines, pumps, valves and the overall water management. Should be comfortable working in all weather conditions as this position is primarily outdoors.


*Please Note: Typical months of operation early May through late October. If you are seeking year round employment, we have opportunities available during the winter season at either Boyne Mountain Resort or Boyne Highlands Resort. 



  • Seasonal Irrigation start up and winterization.
  • Irrigation repair (Toro), maintenance, and operation (LTC 2.0).
  • Possess working knowledge of irrigation pumps.
  • Locate and troubleshoot all leaks, electrical problems, and communication issues.
  • Keep an accurate, up-to-date list of current and future repairs.
  • Keep an accurate inventory of parts and able to place orders when needed.



Irrigation Technician must possess a valid driver’s license.


Experience preferred but not required.  Willing to train the right individual.
