Overview

Sugarloaf Mountain Resort is looking for a tech savvy critical thinker to join our lift operations team in a year-round, full time administrative role. The Sugarloaf Lift Administrator assists department managers in keeping their respective departments running efficiently and up to code.  Primary duties include but are not limited to: purchasing, inventory management, maintaining department tracking spreadsheets and vendor lists, creating and updating department content, and handling most administrative duties for the resort's Lift Maintenance, Lift Operations, Parking and Transportation, and Electrical departments 

Responsibilities

  • Creates and updates a variety of content for the Lift Department 
  • Maintains filing system consisting of hard copies and digital copies to facilitate ease of access and integrity of documents/documentation 
  • Assists with renewal of and/or application for licenses and certificates from various agencies on behalf of the Lift Department  
  • Creates scheduled and unscheduled work orders in Lift Access 
  • Purchasing 
  • Assists with hiring and training  
  • Books lodging and makes other travel arrangements for Lift Department and outside contractors/inspectors 
  • Provides content to Marketing and Communications for Lift Safety Page updates 
  • Assists in training Lift Control during the winter season
  • May be required to drive a company hill truck to various locations on the mountain via work roads to assist with line work and other maintenance and/or staff transport during the summer season

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will:

  • be strongly proficient in all applications of Microsoft Office and various other software
  • be able to work independently and decisively
  • have a high aptitude for technology
  • have and maintain a valid driver's license
  • be able to exert a moderate amount of physical activity to complete some tasks
