Overview

Responsible for painting anywhere at the resort as directed. This may include: inside, outside work, buildings, stairs, decks, walls.   General maintenance and repair may be required before or after painting. Will assist with other departments, i.e. electrical, carpentry and plumbing as needed. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employees' job is to get and keep guests.

Responsibilities

  • Painting as directed indoor and outdoor. Perform general maintenance and repair jobs which may include    carpentry assistance.

  • Attend all company and department training programs as required. Help with other departments as needed.

  • Contribute to team effort by participating in Job Sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.

  • Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by manager.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak effectively.

  • Basic math skills required
  • Ability to solve practical problems
