Overview

The Summit at Snoqualmie is hiring for a full time seasonal Roller Operator to work approximately two (2) months assisting with upkeep and maintenance on our numerous parking lots and service roads.  The Roller Operator is responsible for the safe and proper operation of assigned equipment and produce a quality end product meeting specification.  This position may work weekdays or weekends.

Responsibilities

The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position. 

  • Comply with (and actively promote) all Safety policies and procedures including reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses to ensure adherence to safety
  • Understand and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures
  • Safely, correctly and efficiently operate and setup all Roller equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Must have a basic knowledge of the mechanics and hydraulics of the machine.
  • Perform required pre and post inspections including but not limited to; motor oil, fuel, hydraulics, radiator, water tank and spray system, grease accordingly and keep the unit clean.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution preferred.  1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.  Must be over the age of 18.
