Responsible for executing daily/nightly work orders and service calls. Keep accurate log of routine and preventative maintenance performed on resort infrastructures. Must possess working knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry and electrical. Valid driver’s license required.

  • Pool care and maintenance
  • Perform boiler room water chemical testing
  • Water softener care and maintenance
  • Air conditioning and heat change over
  • Guest room care and maintenance
  • Food service equipment repair and maintenance
  • Preventative maintenance on plant equipment
  • Snow removal
  • Keep accurate time and material repair billing records
  • Infrastructure maintenance
  • Water system inspection and maintenance


Tools and Equipment

Employee is responsible for his or her own basic hand tools. Boyne Highlands will supply any specialty tools and equipment.

Education and/or Experience                                                                

Recommended six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Skills                                                             

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members of the organization. Ability to read, review and comprehend blue prints.


Mathematical Skills                                                    

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Draw and/or interpret graphs and diagrams.


Reasoning Ability                                                        

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


Computer Skills                                                           

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Inventory software and Order processing systems.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Current Driver's License. Must be willing and able to make daily trips to pick up supplies.
