The Terrain Park Manager position is a full time leadership role located at Boyne Highlands Resort. The Terrain Park Manager is directly responsible building, maintaining and the innovation of our resorts terrain parks. The ideal candidate will posse high attention to detail, goal setting skills, and enhance our safety culture. This leadership role will be best suitable for a candidate with strong time management skills to best balance the administrative duties along with park builds/maintenance. This role is currently a full-time, seasonal position but could be full-time year round, for a candidate to work slope maintenance in the summer.
Manage and maintain all terrain parks and tubing hill.
Hire, train, and manage performance for a team of 8-10 team members.
Work closely with the following departments: grooming, marketing and snowmaking.
Champion the Park Etiquette and Education program (PEEPS).
Maintain an accurately/timely record of all park features and conditions.
Performance management of terrain park team members.
Assist in the development of events and promotions.
Maintain accurate financial objectives by preparing annual labor and expense budgets that will be reported on weekly. Ability to access and make changes when needed.
Work with key stakeholders such as outside events and company sponsors.
Track goals through Guest Satisfaction Scores and respond to guests.
Represent the Highlands on a weekly corporate Terrain Park meeting that focuses on best practice between the Boyne Resorts and safety.
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Driver's Licenses and ability to obtain all certifications required through on the job training required.
