As an Owner Services Director is responsible for managing resort condominium rental for Boyne Mountain Resort in accordance with homeowner’s property management contract and Boyne USA, Inc. The Director will also work directly with each Home Owner Association Board of Directors at Boyne Mountain Resort.


The Owner Services Director's typical job functions include but not limited to the following:


  • Overseeing the Owner Services department team members, and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the owner services department
  • Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Discussing terms and conditions for providing management services with clients
  • Drafting agreement stipulating extent and scope of management responsibilities, services to be performed, and costs for services
  • Preparing lease or rental agreements for owners and communicate with necessary resort departments
  • Communicating with accounting team as necessary regarding bookkeeping functions
  • Arranging for maintenance, upkeep, or reconditioning of property as specified in management services or association management agreements
  • Coordinating and overseeing contracts for services of security, maintenance, exterminators, trash collectors, utility service repairers, grounds keeping personnel and onsite management personnel if required
  • Creating and implementing owner services communications plan, including website creation and updates, welcome packets and orientation of new owners, weekly newsletter emails, and other various owner communications
  • Preparing periodic inventory of building contents and property condition, and forward listing to owner for review
  • Purchasing or requisitioning supplies and equipment for use on properties
  • Conferring with representatives of Homeowners' Association or Board of Directors to review financial status of association and to determine management priorities
  • Gathering estimates & monitoring contracts such as landscaping and snow removal
  • Communicating and coordinating Home Owner’s Association projects at the direction of the boards
  • Managing Rogue Renters, strategically work with association boards to return as many rogue renters as possible to our program
  • Following up on all day in review correspondence, Springer Miller reports, damage reports, and maintenance ticket reports
  • Attending board meetings, record minutes, and prepares copies for distribution to board members
  • Investigating tenant disturbances, violations, or complaints and resolves problems in accordance with regulations established by Board of Directors & Boyne Mountain
  • Assisting Board with setting annual budget and activity reports and submits reports to association members
  • Understanding Architectural Rules & Regulations and assist with enforcement
  • Assisting in the administration of events or marketing duties of the owner services team
  • This position reports to Dir. Of Lodging and SVP of Owner Services

  • You have achieved a Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • You possess a valid driver’s license
