Sunday River’s tuning and repair manager sets the bar for equipment tunes, repairs, and customer service at Sunday River.

This job is fast-paced and detail driven and requires the ability to work both independently and as a team. The ideal team player exudes a positive attitude, sense of ownership, and unsurpassed attention to detail no matter the task.

Experience with a register, computer, and Wintersteiger Mercury preferred.

This position is slated to start at mid-to late-October.

• Train and schedule all tuning technicians
• Assist the VP of Skier Services on all retail and supply orders, as well as inventory management
• Work with Wintersteiger
• Tune and repair skis and snowboards
• Open and close point of sale systems
• Complete, track, and file necessary paperwork
• Perform binding check certifications
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tune shop area
• Cross-trained in all Retail Shop positions
• Understanding our products and services, what guests need and how to raise the bar to provide excellent service to customers, general public and employees
• Must be able to multitask in a busy retail environment and be a team player
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends and holidays

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous rental shop and tuning knowledge preferred.
