Overview

Essential focus of this position will be to provide a friendly, fun, safe, caring and compassionate guest experience, time and time again. As the Race Crew member, you are responsible for setting up and tearing down the NASTAR racecourse, course maintenance and possible guest registration.  Also, setup and tear down of events like the Boyne Highlands downhill, CUSSA, high school competitions, and Thursday night race league. The right candidate for this position will be able to ski on all mountain trails in all conditions and will be able to work outside all day. This person for NASTAR and Thursday night race league, will be required to work from 12pm to 4pm weekends for Nastar and for Thursday night race league from 4pm to 9pm. Other times would be needed for outside event set up; times and day to be determined. Candidates can also work in other locations for extra hours if necessary.  If no prior race experience but willing to learn we will train the right candidate.

  • Provide safe, professional, and fair events for all competitors

Qualifications

Judgment: Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; Makes timely decisions.

 

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma? You have achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).

 

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills such as Word, Excel and simple computer programs.
