Full-time, year-round position at Inn at Bay Harbor in administration for the hotel and front office area. The position involves a large variety of activities making each day unique in this fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Primary focus is on exceeding our guest and owner expectations by providing efficient and courteous guest service in accordance with the standards of Inn at Bay Harbor.
Position is a key contact with guests and team members.
Generally, there will be an equal balance of task and relationship focused duties. Seventy percent of time spent is surrounding front office functions and thirty percent in general administration.
Provides daily oversight of front office and hotel functions including: front desk, guest services, (bell staff, concierge, operator, and shuttle service) kids club and other hotel activities. Manages up to six supervisory staff members and up to 30 team members in area of responsibility.
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must hold a valid driver's license.
Strong leadership is required for quick decision making and individual must be self-reliant in making decisions without an abundance of data or input from others. Strong communication skills are a must.
