Just an hour from Seattle on Interstate-90, The Summit at Snoqualmie (and Alpental) re-define convenience, variety, and fun for skiers and snowboarders. Featuring famous steeps, back-bowls, terrain parks, a Nordic center and Tubing Park as well as great learning terrain, The Summit delivers 7 days, and 6 nights a week, and is less than 50 miles from downtown Seattle!


As a SnowSports Assistant and/or Operations Crew you will help set up the look and feel of our learning areas and assist with guests in our indoor/outdoor facilities.

In this role you will:

  • Assist in the assembly and disassembly of the Brown Bear Village and SnowSports teaching areas.
  • Loading and unloading storage facilities and vehicles.
  • Shovel snow and move miscellaneous equipment.
  • Construction of teaching tools and facilities when needed.
  • Support Program Leads and Snowsport Instructors during lessons.
  • Operate chair lift and magic carpet. (Trained and Certified staff only).
  • Pick up (lift, move, help up), steady, and support students (mostly children, some adults.)
  • Attend all training and meetings as required pre-season and in-season.
  • Immediately report incidents and injuries to supervisor and patrol. Fill out required paperwork.
  • Provide quality guest service.
  • Assists in the registration process first thing in the morning.
  • Help tag and process children into the SnowSports School.
  • Fits boots, skis, boards and poles.
  • Assists in rental paperwork.
  • Help dress children to go outside.
  • Place vests on children and prepare report cards for the instructors.
  • Help shuttle children from magic carpet to restroom.


To be successful in this role, you should have previous customer service experience that includes:

•         Quality guest service skills.

•         Previous experience with teaching/coaching/mentoring.

•         Excellent communication skills, and feels comfortable addressing small groups of people.

•         Able to work holidays and weekends per seasonal demands and business needs.

•         Willingness to support and work as a member of a team

•         Flexible with work days and hours

•         Sixteen (16) years or older at the time of hire

•         PSIA - AASI Certification, a plus.
