Overview

The Sidewalk Snow Remover is a part- or full-time, seasonal position at Boyne Highlands Resort. The position reports up to the Guest Services department. The Sidewalk Snow Remover focuses on snow removal at our three hotels sidewalks. These team members are required to work early morning and have a flexible schedule based on snowfall. The opportunity for this to be a full-time position would require team member to assist in ski valet or other guest services areas.

Responsibilities

  • Removing snow from sidewalks using company-supplied shovels, snow blowers, or other small equipment.
  • Applying ice melt to walkways.
  • Assist guests with directions and answering general resort information.
  • Small outdoor maintenance/clean up around hotels.
  • After shoveling is completed, assist guest services department with ski valet and/or other guest services areas.

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
