Sunday River is looking for a Lift Operations Dispatch Center Supervisor! 


The Dispatch Supervisor performs general administrative duties for the Lift Operations department including application processing, interview scheduling, hiring paperwork, and documentation of ski lift related and mountain operation activities. The Dispatch Center monitors the resort radio traffic and coordinates on-mountain activities to ensure safe and efficient lift service to our guests. 


  • Oversees the activities in the Dispatch Center
  • Trains new dispatch operators
  • Ensures daily dispatch center activities are being performed
  • Calls applicants to schedule interviews, completes hiring and onboarding paperwork
  • Documents activities and information in a computer database
  • Types, files, and performs other general clerical activities
  • Receive calls on radio and telephone from ski lifts, patrol, and other resort departments
  • Relay information as required in a fast-paced environment
  • Attend supervisory meetings and help coordinate department meetings
  • May also be assigned Lift Operations or Ticket Checking duties as needed
  • Everyone in the department participates in Lift Operations housekeeping 
  • Perform other tasks as assigned


Ideal candidate will have prior ski resort and Lift Operations experience. Supervisory experience helpful but not necessary.
