Snowmaker is a full-time, seasonal position at Boyne Highlands Resort. The primary focus of the snowmaker is to produce machine made snow for skiers and riders while striving for quality and efficiency to help insure early season terrain as well as ski season longevity.

Load, transport, and set up snowmaking equipment on hill.
Check hoses, nozzles, pipelines, valves and other related equipment for repair or adjustment.
Reposition equipment periodically to direct snowfall to other sections of trail.
Monitor, recognize and adjust production as appropriate.
Clean dirt and frozen snow from equipment.
Recognize and correct unsafe equipment, placement of equipment, and/or working conditions.
Perform proper snow quality checks.
Utilize proper snowmobile operation.
Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; Makes timely decisions.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Snowmakers must possess a valid driver’s license.
