Overview

Sugarloaf is now hiring Ticket Scanners for the upcoming winter season. A Ticket Scanner monitors ski lift passengers as they move through the ticket checking areas to ensure that they have the proper access pass. Ticket Scanners will offer friendly service by greeting our guests and offering relative information about the resort's activities. If you enjoy the outdoors and interacting with people, this is the job for you. 

Responsibilities

A Ticket Scanner will

  • assist in the construction of ticket scanning corrals
  • greet guest as they arrive
  • answer questions and make recommendations
  • verify that the guest has the correct credentials for riding the lift
  • assist in snow shoveling and other snow maintenance activities

Ticket scanners who are 18+ may be asked to perform some Lift Operations assignments along with other assigned roles.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • be energetic, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with guests
  • enjoy working outside in various weather conditions
  • be available to work days, weekends and holidays 
  • be able to stand for long periods of time
  • possess excellent communication skills
  • enjoy a customer service focused position
