The primary responsibility of a busser is quick, efficient and quiet clearing, cleaning and re-setting of tables, and assisting servers in providing friendly and efficient service to our guests. Ability to work evenings, weekends and most holidays. Takes initiative to get any and all jobs completed accurately and proficiently and is someone who doesn't understand the term "not my job."


The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.

  • This position is to ensure waiters and waitresses can focus on the guests and make sure that food comes out in a timely fashion.
  • Clear and sanitize tables for the next group of guests.
  • Dispose of trash and other waste.
  • Keep the restaurant stocked with adequate supplies, such as plates, glasses, silverware, and napkins.
  • Assist cooks, servers, dishwashers, and bartenders with various tasks as needed
  • Other non-essential duties may be assigned

  • Attendance/Punctuality -Communicates absences and schedule changes in a timely manner.  Promptness in reporting to work and adherence to break and lunch schedules.
  • Safety -Demonstrates safety consciousness with guests, resort and co-workers.  Attends safety meetings and adheres to safety codes and procedures.
