The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Payroll Manager with all aspects of processing weekly payroll with an emphasis on staff time management and tip reporting. This position is a part of a small Accounting and HR team of about 12 individuals. As the Payroll Coordinator, you will be immersed in the Accounting and HR world, learning aspects of both. 


  • Processing payroll on a weekly basis
  • Auditing reports of time management, corporate figures, benefits, and bills
  • Processing unemployment claims
  • Assisting HR with hire paperwork, office tasks, filing, and other functions as needed
  • Processing all of the above tasks while maintaining confidentiality


  • Attention to detail is of the utmost importance
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Accounting/Payroll, NAV, SMS experience preferable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work well independently and with a multitude of personnel from both within the company and outside organizations
