The Tubing Hill Supervisor position assists in the daily operations of the Tubing Center. Operations include but are not limited to: hiring, training, inventory, daily operations of the tube hill and the supervision of all tubing staff. This person needs to have the initiative to get any and all jobs completed accurately and proficiently and is someone who teaches by example.


The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.

  • Participates in interviewing process for both hiring and evaluating purposes. 
  • Assists with pre-season tubing operations set up
  • Assists with the training and orientation of tubing operations staff
  • Assists the Tubing Manager with various administrative duties
  • Contributes to the development of training programs and the planning and conducting of crew meetings. 
  • Assists with the oversight of daily operations.  Assures readiness of lifts for opening each day: staffing needs, adherence to applicable codes and company policies.  Monitors performance of personnel and lift equipment. 
  • Responsible for daily opening or closing procedures for outside hill operations.
  • Correct handling of emergency situations.
  • Schedule assignments of lift personnel of any task that is appropriate
  • Promote good guest relations.  Resolve guest difficulties. 
  • Operate equipment necessary to the job: lifts, hand tools, snow grooming tools, skis or snowboards, tubes
  • Perform assigned tasks not necessarily related to this specific job, but essential to the successful operation of the resort.

  • Excellent written and spoken communications skills.
  • Microsoft Office experience and knowledge REQUIRED.
  • Fluent proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
  • A problem resolving and positive attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of food handling procedures
  • Outgoing personality!

High school diploma or equivalent required.  A minimum of 2 years prior supervisory experience required.  Prior supervisory experience in the resort industry highly preferred.
