Overview

Sugarloaf is now hiring Resort Front Desk Representatives for the upcoming winter season. This position interacts with guests for lodging stays and will also assist in selling and organizing activities. Duties include switchboard operations, reservations, arrival and departure details, daily cash-ups, bank deposits, research of guest transactions, along with working with other departments to ensure quality guest experience during the stay at Sugarloaf. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide superior front desk service including but not limited to, taking reservations, gving quotes/booking lodging packages and running reports as needed. 
  • Interact in a professional manner to all guests, owners, and other resort departments. 
  • Keep the front desk area in exemplary condition and perform miscellaneous tasks as requested by supervisors and managers.
  • Operate the switchboard to take, or to answer questions, forward or transfer calls to expedite service. 
  • Perform cash reconciliation duties; prepare bank deposits, apply payments to accounts and deliver deposits for delivery.
  • Organize and record vouchers, separate and total credit cards, and research variances.   
  • Ensure all daily checklists are completed as directed by the Lodging Management and Assistant GM.  

Qualifications

Sugarloaf lodging department requires the staff to work schedules that can vary. Candidates that can work a flexible schedule for days, evenings and weekends are encouraged to apply. Schedules can change due to business levels.
