Sugarloaf is looking for a well organized and data driven individual to join our resort's Accounting team as a Resort Bookkeeper. A Bookkeeper is primarily responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping functions for each of Sugarloaf’s managed associations including accounts payable and accounts receivable. This role will also communicate with customers with past due accounts to encourage payment. The right fit for this position will be positive, team-oriented, and will have the ability to deliver excellent service to association owners.  


  • Primary focus is excellence in customer service, communication and organization. 
  • Prepares and distributes monthly HOA statements to condo and homeowners. 
  • Accurately applies and accounts for incoming owner payments (A/R). 
  • Weekly collection of electronic payments through a third-party provider. 
  • Monthly reconciliation of checking and savings accounts. 
  • Accurately posts association bills (A/P). 
  • Collects and resolves open AR invoices. 
  • Answers and professionally responds to a large volume of telephone calls and computer e-mail messages. 
  • Helps owners and customers resolve account questions. 
  • Maintains accurate office filing system. 
  • Data Entry. 
  • Reports to office supervisor.


Candidates for this position must

  • have at least an Associates Degree (2 Years)
  • be well organized and able to work independently
  • possess excellent computer and organizational skills
