Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation is now accepting applications for a Public Safety Dispatcher within the Carrabassett Valley Police Department and Sugarloaf Security. The role of this position is to answer and dispatch calls for the local fire, police, rescue, and security departments.
Applicants will need to have availability for days, nights, weekends and holidays. This is a full-time, year-round position that is eligible for benefits.
The following are some of the dispatch duties, but are not limited to: answering the telephone, dispatching police officers, fire department, ambulance, and other emergency services to calls for service. Monitoring an alarm computer for Sugarloaf Security and recognizing proper responses for the alarm system, and creating work orders for the alarm technician.
Applicants must be a high school graduate and possess a valid driver’s license and no criminal record.
