The Lube Technician is responsible for lubricating machinery in a quick, yet thorough manner, and for carrying out his/her responsibilities through coordination with the Shop Supervisor. Other duties may include but are not limited to general shop assistance and clean-up, and coordinating work with other mechanics. The ability to work productively and to maintain an environment which supports excellent customer service at the resort is necessary. Takes initiative to get any and all jobs completed accurately and proficiently and is someone who doesn't understand the term not my job.
The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.
Perform all lubrication services.
Perform thorough check of machinery (i.e., battery. Lights, tires), referring all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to shop mechanics.
Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment
Assist mechanics in test-driving vehicles and testing components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Check and communicate oil level to teammates
Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
Complete vehicle inspection

To be successful in this role you will need to be highly detail- oriented with solid organizational and time- management skills, possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills, true passion and understanding of the industry, along with strong customer service and active – listening abilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution preferred. 1 year of Lube Technicians Express preferred and/or equivalent combination of training and experience. Valid driver’s license and fairly clean driving record (no major violations). Attention to detail.
