Inn at Bay Harbor is a Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel nestled on the shoreline of Lake Michigan. It is a place and experience that is Exactly Like Nothing Else.

Event Set Up is a part or full-time seasonal position. Candidate is responsible for the implementation of all event setups; including furniture, and/or equipment necessary for corporate meetings, dinners, social gatherings, and weddings. Must have strong attention to detail in the quality of output required for setups.


  • Set up for meeting and banquet needs (tables, chairs, linens, etc.)
  • Understanding of Event Orders and diagrams and what is required for the event with little direction
  • Report and follow up on all maintenance issues in meeting rooms and surrounding areas
  • Reset meeting spaces to the original set up after each event
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of public spaces and meeting rooms
  • Keep storage areas tidy and well organized
  • Report any damaged event items
  • Keep a professional attitude and demeanor during all guest interactions
  • Problem solve last minute requests and changes


Ability to lift 50+ lbs

Must be available weekends, weeknights, and holidays

Overtime is required at times
