Work Environment:

Office setting at one of the Boyne Resorts locations and/or a home office may be utilized. Occasional travel within the US and/or Canada may be required.

Typical job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure reported incidents are assigned and categorized in the IT Service Management tool
• Maintain compliance with written IT policies/standards/processes/work instructions
• Perform daily checks as assigned and within specified time limits
• Oversee monitoring indications and alerts
• Oversee server backups and disk space alerting
• Oversee user account management
• PBX voice systems oversight and escalation support
• RFID lift access control escalation support
• Assist with PCI compliancy and cybersecurity related tasks
• Plan projects and prepare estimates/cost requirements of materials, equipment, and labor
• Study relevant publications, and attend conferences and webinars in order to stay current with relevant technological developments
• Review and understand written documentation
• Update/maintain documentation/inventories as assigned
• Use vendor support as required
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned

Ideal candidate posess the following competencies:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both technical and business team members
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft desktop operating systems, Office applications suite, Office 365 and Active Directory
• Basic understanding of DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, local area networking and connectivity troubleshooting
• Ability to set priorities and adapt to changes in a quick, professional manner
• Ability to use discretion when handling confidential information
• Utilizes logic and deductive reasoning to diagnose and solve complex problems
• Organized and self-motivated
• Judgment - Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; Makes timely decisions

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

• Any combination of education and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described
• Demonstrated experience in Information Technology and a familiarity with the Microsoft technology stack is essential
• A desire for life-long learning is a must
• ITIL certification is a plus
