Overview

Inn at Bay Harbor is a Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel nestled on the shoreline of Lake Michigan. It is a place and experience that is Exactly Like Nothing Else.

 

This is a part or full time year round position. Responsibilities include moving the linen from storage to houskeeping closets, answering radio calls, stocking housekeeping carts, and delivering needed product to housekeepers throughout the day.

 

New Hire Bonus Available!  A $200 bonus is available for new hires to this department!  $100 will be paid after 45 days, and an additional $100 after 90 days.  Benifits are available to full time employees within thirty days of being hired.  

 

END OF SEASON LOYALTY BONUS AVAILABLE!  Housekeeping Team Members who work our full season, from June 15th through October 31st, and maintain their scheduled shifts, will be eligible for a $1 per hour bonus for each hour they worked between those dates.

 

Starting wage is $14.00 per hour depending on experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Keep guest areas neat and clean
  • Sweep and mop stairwells
  • Remove trash, recyclables, and linen from corridors
  • Stock supply closets with linens and guest supplies
  • Deliver items to guest rooms as requested

Qualifications

Weekends and holidays are our peak times

 

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older

 

Must be a self-starter

 

Heavy lifting up to 50lbs required

 

Must be able to bend, twist, push, pull, go up and down stairs
