The Public Area Service Attendant is to exceed Guest and Owner expectations by providing efficient and courteous Guest service in accordance with the standards of The Inn at Bay Harbor. The Public Area Service Attendant is a key contact with Guests, affecting their overall impression of The Inn. The PSA must be an ambassador of The Inn at Bay Harbor, able to represent and promote features and facilities available to the guests.

The starting wage for this position is $14.50/hour  

New Hire Bonus Available!  A $200 bonus is available for new hires to this department!  $100 will be paid after 45 days, and an additional $100 after 90 days.  Benifits are available to full time employees within thirty days of being hired.  


END OF SEASON BONUS AVAILABLE!  Housekeeping Team Members who work our full season, from June 15th through October 31st, and maintain their scheduled shifts, will be eligible for a $1 per hour bonus for each hour they worked between those dates.




  • Punch in while in full uniform and report to the office by the scheduled time. Uniform is to be clean and presentable. Grooming and hygiene standards are outlined in the Boyne handbook.
  • Daily duties include sweeping, mopping, cleaning and sanitizing all public spaces. These areas include public bathrooms, lobby area, fitness center, business center and stairwells.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs., bend, twist, push and pull, and be on your feet for extended periods.
  • Complete any special tasks assigned by the Housekeeping Managers or the General Manager
  • Responds to the Guest requests for information about the Inn
  • Keeps Housekeeping Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
  • Maintains a clean, well-organized work area.
  • Minimizes safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures.
  • Must have a “whatever it takes” outlook for Guests, fellow Associates, and other departments.

The Public Area Service Attendant should stimulate a friendly, cheerful attitude with emphasis on “At Your Service” in his/her conduct with managers, guests, and fellow employees. He/she serves as a role model to the team. The PSA sets the highest possible example in conduct, temperament, attendance, punctuality, and standards of work.
