Position Summary:  Gain deeper understanding of management by assisting the Dining Room Manager with a variety of tasks including daily operations.  Depending upon individual initiative, previous work experience and business demands, each intern will be assigned to one or several dining outlets.  You will work alongside our team of professionals displaying leadership as well as motivating our service team.  With a variety of dining options our interns are given many opportunities to network and secure full-time employment post-graduation!

  • Learning all entry-level positions in the restaurant including but not limited to: Serving, Bartending, Hosting, Bussing, Expediting, Food Running and Cashier.
  • Learning any tasks relevant to your educational experience as assigned by Restaurant Manager.
  • Welcome guests by making them feel comfortable and valued for the duration of their visit.
  • Coordinate activities of the restaurant and personnel focusing on leading, developing and managing the team.
  • Educate yourself regarding the restaurant functions, services and menu products. This includes ingredients and preparation so you can accurately answer questions.
  • Provide full assistance to all team members with situations as they arise, ensuring that guests are fully serviced in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure all safety and sanitary policies and procedures are being upheld.


This position may be for you if:

  • You are currently enrolled in a related higher education program.
  • You are available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • You are able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • You are focused, detail-oriented, able to display positive customer service and a team player.
  • You are over 18 years old, experience preferred but not necessary.
  • You possess the ability to handle a variety of tasks or requests on time.
  • You have general knowledge of most positions within the restaurant.
  • You have the ability to problem solve and deal with a diverse set of individuals.
