The Guest Services Attendant is the most exciting, engaging, and active position available at Boyne Highlands Resort. As the newest member of our team, you will be responsible for making sure each guest has an amazing experience and leaves with a smile. Our team is the first and last impression of the resort, so a friendly and welcoming attitude is crucial in creating and maintaining an exceptional experience for our guests.

We are looking for either full-time or part-time team members to perform all aspects of guest service ranging from handling guest's luggage to answering a variety of questions from guests and everything in between. We offer flexible scheduling including day and night shifts, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the employee golf pass or to take the scenic chairlift up the mountain and enjoy the beautiful views. There are also plenty of chances to transfer to a winter position after the summer season which happens to come with an employee ski pass!

Responsibilities

The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.

  • Move luggage from guest vehicles, load bell carts, and assist guests to their room.
  • Maintain cleanliness of Resort lobby areas and grounds. 
  • Provide quality service to the guest by responding to their request promptly, efficiently, and courteously during check-in/check-out and throughout the guest's stay.
  • Deliver various things to guest rooms such as ice, anniversary gifts, gift baskets, etc.
  • Maintain knowledge about the property such as events, activities, and information about various buildings and rooms to allow you to answer any questions the guests might ask.
  • Maintain water stations. 
  • Assist guests as needed to provide each person with an amazing experience.
  • Assist the front desk and other guest service areas as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
  • Guest service experienced a plus but we are happy to train you!
