Overview

As the New Boyne Highlands Golf Ambassador, you will keep the golf courses running smoothly, interacting with golfers to ensure the pace of play and assist them in various ways. You will also be responsible for maintaining the appearance of the course and promoting the various courses we have to offer. This is a part-time position, giving you plenty of time to take advantage of our award-winning golf courses with your employee golf pass!

Responsibilities

The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.

  • Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered to each guest on the golf course. 
  • Ensure pace of play is maintained for the benefit and satisfaction of players. 
  • Act upon any queries made by players.
  • Report any inappropriate behavior to the Golf Professional.
  • Direct, coordinate, and ensure that members and guests are following their assigned course. 
  • Convey information regarding pace-of-play, GPS, and course rules to each group. 
  • Be fully knowledgeable of the daily tee sheet, events, crossovers, and course rotations.
  • Learn and promote the development’s services, facilities, and amenities and be able to promote and direct guests accordingly. 
  • Maintain the appearance of the first tee area ensuring it is neat, tidy, and clear of all debris, broken tees, trash, etc., at all times.
  • Ensure all members and guests are safely operating golf cars. 

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License 
  • Able to work outside in various weather conditions
