The Convention Services Setup team is responsible for the setting up and tearing down of tables, chairs, decorations, and equipment for meetings, banquets or resort activities. Responsibilities

The Convention Services Setup teams typical job functions include:

  • Setting up of meeting and banquet needs (tables, chairs, linen, etc.)
  • Ensuring cleanliness and superior condition of all meeting and banquet rooms, including windows, baseboards, etc.
  • Working with AV Specialists on audio and visual needs for events and groups
  • Ensuring cleanliness of loading dock, and surrounding Civic Center area, including Village Lane, and stairway area to tunnel
  • Reporting and following up on all maintenance issues in meeting rooms and surrounding areas, such as light-bulbs and ceiling tiles, etc
  • Cleaning transportation vehicles, including trams
  • Addressing all maintenance issues to ensure that they are repaired
  • Scheduling on-property transportation needs year-round
  • Setting up and operating Ski Valet services
  • Ensuring cleanliness of the Ski Cafeteria
  • Setting up and tear-down of ski lockers
  • Setting up movie nights and other events as assigned

Qualifications

This position might be for you if:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have achieved a high school diploma or completed a GED
  • You possess a valid driver's license; CDL license would be helpful, but not required
  • You have previous experience successfully working with a team, strong communication skills and excellent attention for details
  • You are able to frequently stand; walk; lift and or move 25 pounds; frequently lift and or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds
  • You are interested in being a part of a team focused on success
