Boyne Highlands is looking for Food and Beverage Supervisors to join our team. 


The Supervisor position is a full-time, seasonal position. Supervisor will assist the Restaurant Manager in all aspects of the department, including scheduling, payroll and floor management. Responsibilities are to ensure that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality guest service. All Supervisors must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Takes initiative to get any and all jobs completed accurately and proficiently and is someone who doesn't understand the term "not my job."

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Assist with scheduling, daily staffing levels, billing transactions, inventory, etc.
  • Ensure cleanliness of restaurant, including service stations with maintaining a clean, neat, and well-organized work area.
  • Take appropriate action on any complaint or problem to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Work closely with culinary and other departments to properly plan and coordinate operation of the restaurant.
  • Maintain awareness in relation to accident prevention, safety, and fire prevention.
  • Ensure all reports are prepared completely and on time to develop a more informative database for improved management decision-making and critical evaluation of workplace activities.
  • Consistently look for new methods, techniques, equipment, and material that will improve the overall efficiency and/or quality of the department.


Supervisory Responsibilities: This position directly supervises 12-15 team members in restaurant, and is responsible for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Supervisors must possess ServSafe certification or acquire it upon hire.
