Sugarloaf is seeking candidates for the position of Information Systems Coordinator (ISC).  This job requires extensive, daily contact with both Sugarloaf staff and guests. Customer service is a key element of the job and adherence to Sugarloaf's service values is mandatory. For the most part, Sugarloaf employees are the IT department’s customers.


The primary functions of this role are to:

  • provide desktop PC support to employees and customers
  • maintain voice, data, and TV cabling infrastructure (indoor and outdoor); repair or replace damaged wiring; install and terminate wiring to support renovation, relocation, or new construction
  • provide direct guest support for guest room issues, including but not limited to: TV, phone and internet
  • troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair or replace various systems, including but not limited to: end user computers, phones, TVs and printers
  • use vendor support to resolve difficult problems
  • provide users with basic instruction
  • document solutions for both end user education and technical reference purposes
  • perform and maintain an inventory of tools and equipment; maintain stocks of consumable supplies
  • perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor


The use of a personal vehicle for travel within the Sugarloaf area is required. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.


Weekend work schedule is required. Evening work may be needed during scheduled maintenance or in case of emergency.


On-site work is required with the option of some remote capabilities.


Wage will start at entry level with the potential for increase based on performance and experience. This is a full-time, year-round position that is eligible for benefits. 


The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • have a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • have at least 2 years of related work experience (preferred, but willing train the right person).
  • be A+ Certified Professional (or be able to obtain certification in a short period of time).
  • have advanced knowledge of network cabling, T568A/B wiring standards, and cable count color codes.
  • be proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
  • be able to learn the operation and maintenance of complex PBX telephone systems.
  • have basic knowledge of networking.
  • be able to critically think and use various resources, including vendor support, reference manuals, internet resources, and/or documentation to solve problems.
  • have a current, valid driver’s license and a functioning vehicle with current registration and insurance.
  • be able to ski or snowboard at or above the beginner level to perform on-mountain tasks.
