The Sunday River Skier Servies Department is looking for a Skier Services Manager. This position is Full Time Year-Round. The Skier Services Manager needs to be ambitious, love the mountain lifestyle, have a positive “get ‘er done attitude” and be passionate about providing exceptional guest service. This is a full time year round position that is responsible for all aspects of the snowmaking department and related operations including but not limited to capital projects and resort events. The Snowmaking Manager reports directly to the Director of Snow Surfaces and should have 5-10 years experience in the snowmaking field, a detailed understanding of the snowmaking process, a high level of comfort operating and maintaining machines and equipment, and excellent management skills.

The ideal candidate oversees daily ski lift operations including ski lift inspections, preseason preparation, scheduling, hiring, training, payroll and team member development. The Lift Operations Manager completes the seasonal hiring cycle, organizes training materials, conducts training, and provides feedback for all Lift Operations team members.

Sunday River is in search of Carpenters to join our Building Maintenance team. Must be familiar with hand tools such as power drills, hammers and saws. Ability to perform repetitive actions using your hands, arms, fingers, wrists, legs, back, etc. Requires commitment to wearing protective safety gear for heat, noise, and prevention of injury on the job site. Must be able to use ladders and scaffolding, and possess a general knowledge of construction operations and procedures with 3-5 years of carpentry experience. Must work well independently, as well as with a team of subcontractors and supervisor.
