This role requires a self-motivated individual with a base knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a real estate office. The ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and to organize and prioritize workload is crucial for this position as is the ability to take direction well and be a strong communicator. Sugarloaf is seeking to hire a full time year round Lift Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are seeking detail-oriented, physically fit candidates who are willing to work outside in all types of weather conditions, day or night, for this role. Lift Maintenance Technicians install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot lift equipment as well as assist lift operations with the start up and shut down of the lifts daily. They also read diagrams and manufacturers’ manuals, fit bearings, rebuild sheave trains, service grips and perform other mechanical procedures requiring specialized training. Candidates must be able to work at great heights.
Sugarloaf Mountain Resort is seeking an Equipment Mechanic for the service and repair on our fleet of modern, high-tech grooming machines. This is a great opportunity for a career-minded person with a passion for the ski industry. Interested persons must have prior work experience in automotive, truck or equipment trade or have a tech school degree in a related field. Prior work experience in hydraulics, electrical diagnosis, hydrostatic transmissions, welding and fabrication is desired. We will train in house and will offer paid factory service school. Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation/Carrabassett Valley Police Department is accepting applications for the position of full-time Police Officer. Our Police Officers patrol and investigate crimes in the rural area of the Town of Carrabassett Valley which includes the Sugarloaf Ski Resort. Duties include patrol, traffic enforcement, criminal and traffic investigations as well as responding to alarms and overall security for Sugarloaf Mountain Ski Resort. This is a small resort town which can swell to roughly 10,000 people in the winter with numerous bars and music venues.
This is a benefit eligible position that can include health insurance /dental/vision, earned PTO and a 401k retirement.
A sign on bonus of up to $4000 is being offered for any full-time certified police officers (out of state or in state) post certification(s). Salary will vary contingent upon training and experience.
