2017-2018 ski season will start on Octoberr 29th and 30th and you must be available for an additional training day in early November. 

 

Professional Ski Patrollers are responsible for providing safety and emergency services to Summit Resort guests. They are the first ones on the mountain and the last ones off each day. Duties include: morning trail checks, avalanche mitigation, patrolling assigned areas, mountain maintenance, rescuing injured skiers, providing first aid, performing search and rescue, and closing the mountain at the end of the day. Patrollers are given the privilege and great responsibility of managing the mountain (including lots of skiing!) and keeping all guests and employees safe while they are on terrain.
